Origin

Perugia, and a rather uncommercial idea.

AMORÉA was born in a city that has been making chocolate for a century and a half, out of a plain observation: couples don't stop loving each other — they stop asking each other questions.

The pralines are 75% Perugian Gran Crudo, hand-tempered and finished in edible gold leaf. The thirty-six questions were written with the help of relationship professionals, then rewritten one by one so they sound like something a person would say — not a manual.

The real luxury isn't the box. It's ninety minutes and a question you can't answer in a hurry.

Practical questions

Before you order.

How fast does it arrive?

Orders placed before 2pm ship the same day. Delivery takes 24–48 hours in Italy and 3–5 working days elsewhere in Europe.

For Valentine's Day and Christmas, order a few days ahead: the editions are numbered and they run out.

Does it work for a long-term couple?

Those are exactly who it's for. In the first months everybody asks each other questions; after ten years you need an excuse, and the third deck usually arrives on the second or third evening.

Can I give it without knowing what's inside?

Yes. Every box arrives gift-wrapped and wax-sealed, with a blank card for your dedication. If you order it as a gift, no price receipt goes in the parcel.

What's in the pralines?

75% Perugian Gran Crudo chocolate, cocoa butter, cane sugar and the natural aromatics of the four varieties (rose, chilli, damiana, Andean maca).

They contain traces of nuts and milk. The full ingredient and allergen list is printed under the tray and published on each edition's page.

How should they be stored?

Somewhere cool and dry, between 16 and 18 °C, away from light. Not the fridge — chocolate blooms. Best within six months of the date printed on the base.

Are the cards available in English?

The Ritual Box and the Collection include both decks, Italian and English. For the Passion Box you choose at checkout.

Can I return it?

You have fourteen days to change your mind, as the right of withdrawal provides. The box must come back intact with the seal unbroken. Write to us and we'll send the return label.

Is it suitable for non-drinkers or vegetarians?

Yes. No praline contains alcohol and all are suitable for vegetarians. They are not suitable for a vegan diet: the filling contains cream.
